Scott Moscrip, who started Truckstop, is back as the temporary CEO after Kendra Tucker suddenly left.
Scott is returning to the company he founded in 1995, just as Truckstop is going through an important time with changes in leadership.
He said, “I’m happy to come back and lead the company I started during this important time. Truckstop has always focused on helping customers, and I look forward to creating new tools that help them succeed, feel confident, and enjoy their work.”
Scott was in charge when the company grew at the beginning and made Truckstop a top online marketplace for freight. Their load board is well-known and used by many carriers and brokers.
Kendra took over during the pandemic and helped the company grow by adding new services, like fraud protection and factoring tools, which are very important for their customers now.
Will Griffith, the board chair, thanked her for her hard work and leadership.
Right now, the company is looking all over the country for a new permanent CEO.
