DHL Group is now working even more closely with Shopify to help online sellers ship their products worldwide more easily. This new partnership will help millions of Shopify sellers by giving them a faster and simpler way to connect with DHL’s large delivery network within their own country and overseas.
Now that DHL is built right into the Shopify Shipping system, sellers can use DHL’s global shipping services with just a few clicks. They don’t need to sign up with a shipping company separately, which saves time and effort. This also makes it easier to handle tricky things like customs, taxes, and legal paperwork.
Shipping Without the Stress
Katja Busch, DHL’s Chief Commercial Officer, said, “DHL links vendors to their clients in over 220 nations and territories. We understand that trading with customs, taxes, and discovering a trustworthy shipping partner can be hard. Our partnership with Shopify gives sellers access to our global services and expert support, so they can ship without the stress.”
Rolling Out Worldwide in 2025 and 2026
Harley Finkelstein, Shopify’s President, added, “Shopify Shipping is all about making things easier for our sellers. With DHL already set up in the platform, we’re helping businesses grow by removing the usual roadblocks to international shipping.”
The DHL feature, as it presently stands, is available only for Shopify sellers from the USA and Germany. In the USA, it is inclusive of a "Delivered Duty Paid" (DDP) option, i.e., the seller pays all customs duties and taxes upfront; thus, the patron is not required to pay anything extra.
DHL and Shopify are working toward introducing this feature in many other countries in the European and Asia-Pacific regions by 2025-26, essentially making global shipping easier and more convenient.
